Kinswomen

Kinswomen is a Substack publication and storytelling platform I created to foster authentic conversations about the experiences women too often keep to themselves. Designed as a space for reflection, connection, and shared wisdom, the platform invites women to explore topics ranging from physical and mental well-being to identity, relationships, creativity, and personal growth.

At its core, Kinswomen is a collaborative environment shaped by the voices and lived experiences of its participants. Through thoughtful storytelling and open dialogue, the publication creates space for nuanced conversations about womanhood while celebrating the diversity of experiences that shape feminine identity.

Work

Platform Concept
I conceived Kinswomen as a storytelling platform designed to create space for authentic conversations about the experiences women too often keep to themselves. The publication is built around the idea that wisdom grows through shared reflection, inviting women to explore topics such as identity, well-being, relationships, creativity, and personal growth.

Brand Development
I developed the brand identity for Kinswomen, shaping its visual language, tone, and positioning as a thoughtful and contemporary space for conversation. The brand was designed to feel warm, reflective, and collaborative—supporting both intimate personal storytelling and broader discussions about womanhood.

Editorial Direction
I established the editorial vision for the publication, defining themes, conversation formats, and storytelling approaches designed to encourage meaningful dialogue. The editorial framework invites women to contribute stories, insights, and cultural touchpoints—from reflections on mental and physical well-being to the books, ideas, and everyday moments that shape our lives.

Outcome

Kinswomen has a growing subscriber audience and is evolving to include video interviews and audio content.
